Re: USB port stuck on charge only

Have you tried plugging it into a different computer. It might not be your phone, it might be your Windows drivers are messed up. Go into devices in control panel and delete all info related to Android. Also, try to install HTC sync to update the drivers on your computer. If your computer is reacting when you plug in the phone I think its with your computer and not the phone. The Hboot USB drivers are different then the Disk Drive and Sync drivers.

Re: USB port stuck on charge only

I had this same problem on my non-rooted evo. It worked great the first month, then just stopped communicating with pc. There is no fix, Sprint store couldn't get it to connect either, so they replaced it.

Re: USB port stuck on charge only

Are you on a laptop? If so a lot of laptops don't put out enough amps and may be leading to your problem try a different computer if that is not the case I would take your evo in to get replaced

Re: USB port stuck on charge only

Mine usb port stopped working , new cable did not work. Found alot of post about this port breaking very easly. Some stores are calling in damage to phone making you go to Asurion and paying $100. I will try Sprint store today that is also a repair center and get it replaced have insurance.
