Angry Stock Froyo 3D gallery app pulling mp3 tags...ANNOYING!

hi guys, i love this app. only thing that bugs me is that it's pulling almost everything i think that's an image file on my sd card... It's pulling my mp3 tags and that causes the app to slowly load them in. i tried putting a file named .nomedia on the root of my music folder, but that prevents the music app from loading the music. does anyone know a way around this? thanks!!

What rom are you on. I have used the 3d gallery with DC 3.2 weeks ago and am currently using it with CM6. I never had this issue. Do you have the proper DCIM file listed for pictures?

Re: Stock Froyo 3D gallery app pulling mp3 tags...ANNOYING!

I used the 3D gallary on DC Rom 3.2 There is a directory for the pictures. There should be a file on your SD card called "DCIM" inside that folder should be a folder called ".thumbnails", "100ANDRO", "Camera". So if you dont have those files make them put all your pictures in there and you should be good after that. Make sure your music is in a seperate folder called my documents or media or anythig you want to call it. So again make a file called DCIM and put three files inside that folder called .thumbnails, 100ANDRO, Camera. Put your pictures in the camera app dont put anything in the .thumbnails file your phone will put thumbnails of your pictures in there like cashey the make it quicker when loading the 3D gallary. The 100ANDRO file I dont know what that is for I deleted it several times it keeps coming back. Nothing is ever in there though.

You dont have these files on your SD card do you? If you do get back to me so we can continue to try new things.
