I like HTC dialer too much to try this... For some reason, really dislike stock android dialer. Thanks for review!

Re: My review of cyanogenmod 6 on the Evo.
cool review, though i wish the review came after a fresh install instead of all the customizations. I also like sense too much. not necessarily the home screen, but everything else. facebook integration, the messaging app, dialer, gallery and contacts apps i find leaps and bounds better than aosp. I also like the sharing aspect of sense and how easy it is to copy/paste/search for stuff in the browser and more. it may be fast without it, but without it i would just install substitutes anyway and slow it right back down. I played with cyanogen for a day before, but just can't use it day to day. too barebone. Also, lack of 4G makes me cry :'(

Re: My review of cyanogenmod 6 on the Evo.
Good review man, some things you may want to include might be:
1) overall battery life opinion (better, worse, same) 2) the overclock kernel and setCPU profiles (if it has an OC) 3) stability and if you get FCs on things. 4) what AOSP and Cyanogen really are (20 seconds) 5) I get the 8 out of 10, but recommend you favorite ROM or one you'd rather flash as well and why. Just some ideas. I like that you know what you're talking about. Surprisingly (or not so?) you get people doing reviews on things they know nothing about (you've already pointed out with much hilarity one example). Good work bro. |
