wireless tether 2.0.5 and OMJ Froyo 2.2
I've searched the forums and I can't seem to find what I'm doing wrong. I'm it's something simple and stupid.

I have OMJ's Froyo 2.2 et al installed on my EVO, I start up wireless tether and make my device discoverable.. I then link my laptop bluetooth and the device... but I must be missing some step as I can't use the mobile connection and tether.

feel free to flame me -- like I said I'm sure it's something stupid.

which version of tether are u using? which kernel?

What I THOUGHT should appear is the network in my BT window.. it didn't... I figured I'm looking in the wrong place or doing something noobish.

Why aren't you using wifi to tether? It will work alot better than bluetooth.

turn off passcode and do a easy id

than make sure you connect to it and your not sitting next to your homes ap

netarchys newest kernal doesnt mess up the 8mp camera thing.

latest as of when? the 8/13 blew out my camera. I know it doesn't happen to everyone.

I had the same problem until I went into the wireless tether "Change LAN" settings and changed it to other than 192. Once I made the change I was able to connect.

netarchy fixed the capped camera after HTC released the kernel source...this was b4 8/13
