Getting 60 FPS on Evo 4G Possible on 2.2?

I've been scouring the internet for the possible fix to this. Is there a way to do this on 2.2 froyo yet?

I'm assuming with a full root..

I can't seem to find much info on this subject and XDA is a cluster of information it's hard to find what I need.

Highest I seen is 56 fps..which is hi don't kno how often its put to use.

i got to the 55/56 fps as well but havent got any higher than that using gears as well as quadrant advanced

The kernel you want to run for most sense based 2.2 ROM's is located here

The current version is 4.1.8 and you will need to be fully rooted..

I'm assuming since my phone came stock with 2.2 froyo which isn't able to be rooted yet i'm stuck with it for a while then?
