SMS out of order

i have been having sms problems for a while now. some of my sms come in out of order. and when i send my sms, sometimes they show up in my conversation also out of order. any fix for this? i got the official 2.2

Do you by chance have the Airave? If so, this is causing the same issue with me while I am on Airave link. Otherwise I have no idea...I don't have the issues outside of the Airave coverage.

Yeah, I have the Airave here...and in the past this has been an issue. Sprint is about to release a new Airave that does 3G and VOIP for home phone service I believe....hopefully the figured out this issue in the 2nd generation.

I have the same proble too, i do not have the airave and i dont think is related with that, i just update my ROM and out of the sudden the problem stop. im using OMJ ROM.

Anybody ever found a fix for this? I'm on Froyo 2.2 Rooted, and my sms are arriving randomly out of order as well. Seems to be a time stamp issue.

Is it one long text that has been broken up? Or were you sending multiple texts back and forth with someone? For me, Sprint has always done that, where the texts will come out of order if a lot of texts are going back and forth, or if someone sends one 400 character text and it get broken up by 160. Or if I'm in a low service area.

I just think its the network.
