flipz rom support iptables?

first, I'm a dwarf noob. I got an evo running on metropcs with fresh 3.1.0.2 and need to get apps working.
I followed instructions I found using the autostart/u2nl/apn hack but that didn't work. and then I thought maybe flips evo rom doesn't support iptables command because that's what the autostart is doing.
can anyone confirm that flipz rom support iptables?

Maybe u should jus ask flipz directly or jus post this question in his thread..

yes, I'm going to do that now. his contact form asks that you exhaust all options before emailing him.

I got your pm before but for some reason couldn't write you back. Anyways, yes both the 2.1 and 2.2 fresh roms do support ip tables, and I've used both with metropcs. What method are you using to modify the autostart files? Not all of them work, that's why I'm asking.
