Screen won't come one, Phone rooted, needs replacement!

hdmi doesnt bring up what is on your phones screen per say. Just movies, vids, etc.

My screen started doing some funky stuff this morning. If I hit the power button to turn the screen on, nothing happened. To make a long story short...I just left the sprint store and had to spend 10 minutes with some nipple head who thought I rooted my phone and that was why it was geeking. I was running OTA 2.2.

I wouldn't worry about it. 90% of the people on this site know more about their phone than Sprint does. You should be able to talk your way out of anything they have to say.....and that's even if they say anything at all.

well pop the battery out, if you turn it on and get anything on the screen than you know its the rom and reflashing it will cure it.

This was a replacement I recieved because the charging port went bad on the first one. I'm thinking they gave me a refurb with an issue they didn't fully fix. The RUU will kill the root. I was making a joke. Don't microwave, it will not work at all if you do.

Couldn't get the RUU to work. I can't see the screen, but I assume my phone is probably defaulted to "charge only" when I hook it to the computer so I couldn't get it to sync. Guess I'll just send it back when the time comes and take my chances.

*Edit- Sprint just called to say my replacement is in. Picking it up this evening.

Does it matter of you kill root? The screen doesn't work

Edit- try to send it, they may send you that new dual core, 2850 mah, AMOLED screen Evo Evolution. Worth the risk right? Lol
