Home button not working

My home button has stopped working. It still responds but has no action. Even when I long press and the pop up screen comes up it doea nothing.

Have you tried powering down then powering back up? stock as in not rooted?

Sounds like it may be a app you installed...since you say it still does something. Try either uninstalling the latest apps you installed...or worst case do a hard reset of the phone. If that doesn't fix it your phone may have a problem. Call Technical Support and ask them also.
