Auto-on wireless

How do I disable auto connect to open networks if my wifi is on? I need to have wireless enabled to see the networks, but I don't want them to connect. My work network requires a second login and so now I have no data at work because 3G will not take over. Is there anything I can do about this?

Re: Auto-on wireless

Forget all the networks. Just because it is open doesn't mean it will connect. If you forget it, the phone won't connect to it.

Re: Auto-on wireless

Turning off defeats the purpose of the program I'm trying to use. The forgetting seemed to make it work right today.
