from what i've read you have to pay clear $10 for a 1 day pass that might continue to work after.

Anyway here's the thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=755977

Re: clearwire 4g works on my evo wow

i dont see the point if you in a 4g area with sprint already...like the previous agent stated sprint owns most of clear anyway...i did try they new little mobile hotspot device in the mall...the guy turned it on, and let me walk around in the mall and i was a mobile hotspot..the connection was great and superfast...BUT so is Sprint's 4G..only thing difference was that the bars was higher and of course it would b it was in my pocket lol..but in ATL even with no 4g bars it 4g still flys!!!..so no need for it...my 2 cents...

Aren't you were already connecting to Clear's 4G? It was my understanding that its wasn't exactly Sprint's network, but Sprint's devices use it because Sprint owns the controlling interest in the company. Am I wrong?

like i was saying, i was in the mall on sprint's 4g, no bars but still super fast!!!..but when the dude told me to hook up to clear's wifi signal it jumped to 5bars wifi and was super fast also...its weird bc sprints 4g reads like a wifi connection but its not, clearwire was wifi and with more bars...confused lol

Re: clearwire 4g works on my evo wow

Does clearwire have a coverage map? I live in Memphis so I have no 4G and Memphis isn't listed on any projections for future 4G coverage. I saw on XDA that someone in Idaho had 4G. Idaho? Really? Idaho gets 4G but no love for the Memphis area. Nashville has 4G too!

Re: clearwire 4g works on my evo wow

When I entered ##data# it prompted me for edit or view, when I clicked edit it prompted me for password, when I entered my 6digit password it gave me error message. Is this password different than the one I set with Sprint?
