I made peace with it in a hurry. It is about a matchbook thicker but it does sit on the kicj stand better. To me, it feels better, in that it feels a bit meatier to hold.

The one I just ordered isnt as thick as the 3500, and the back isnt as ugly. Im still hoping HTC releases one of their own, just for the quality, the support, and the design factor.
