Re: Huge Saver For Battery

I am using JuiceDefender on my CM6 nightly rom, and it works great. Battery "savings" goes between 1.5-1.8x. I will say my battery does indeed last longer using this program, than prior to using JD. I don't see a need for it on Sense roms, though, as I turned off the "Enable Always-On Mobile Data" setting under mobile networks. AOSP doesn't have this setting, which was why I started using JuiceDefender.

Re: Huge Saver For Battery

I'm running OMJ 2.2v2.1 and got 20 hours yesterday. Provided 6 of those hours I was sleeping, but it also included a 3hour car ride playing music the whole way. I've only done the basic battery savers which include disabling "Enable Always-On Mobile Data" and turning off gps and wifi and such when they are not in use.

It all depends on how you use your phone. You can't have 4g on in a 3g area, gps, bluetooth and surf the web all day while streaming Pandora then complain when you only get 4 hours out of the battery.
