Re: Ok so...EVO fell into a cup of water

Well I took the battery out and put all of the pieces on the dash of the car...it is HOT here...

THe water mostly evaporated but I still had a water stain on the upper left-hand corner of the screen. That was on Thursday night. I just looked at it now on Sat morning and it looks fine. I hope I am not imaging things I wonder if the Zagg protected it any?

How can I check it to see if it is truly dried out? I powered off and back on so that the screen would be white. Any other ideas on how to see the screen better?

Thanks for all of the suggestions!

If the water marks are gone and it has been several days, I would imagine you are fine. The only way to know if it is dry 100% is to open the case to find out. At this point if it powers on and the screen looks like normal I would try it like that. That is just my opinion though.
