New Voice Actions on Android 2.2

Has anyone tried the new voice actions on android 2.2 that was just released today? It is in the android market. So far it is very accurate. Would work better if the evo had noise canceling microphone.

Darn, I can't install on Fresh rom. Says I have to update manually. Anyone else?

Go to the android market and download "Voice Search". It will update your current voice search so that it has the latest features.

Most of us on custom ROM's have to manually delete the old voicesearch.apk in /system/

reboot then launch the market and install from there..

I tried deleting the file but I get a message that it cant be deleted

I am using the latest Fresh...How can I delete the original voicesearch.apk...The phone won't let me!

Did you try root explorer?

If youre having constant issues its probably the fact that you cant talk clear lol
