Please help i am stuck with froyo .3 leaked version

I installed the leaked 2.2 and now i am trying to go back to 2.1 so that i can just do the ota and get the offical 2.2 but i cant i keep getting the "instalation aborted" and when i try to just run the stock ruu it tells me "error 140 bootloader version error" please help!

You have 2 choices... neither of which involve going back to 2.1. First you can go to a Sprint store, many of which have the latest version of the firmware. They can flash it for you. The second is find a copy of the same file...its out there in many places...including a sticky by me that warchild was kind enough to add a download link to the file and flash it yourself. If you have tried it yourself...they call a store and have them fix you.

The HTC website has the latest ROM for download. If you play with it, make sure you backup with a backup application that works. I used this to upgrade and it worked ok. I had to manually reinstall a "few" things.

The HTC website does not have the latest rom for download, it simply explains how to go to system updates and do it that way.

Go here... the link ".6 Upgrade Download for Leaked 2.2." right below the words MOD edit will get you the file you need (there is also a mirror listed as well). If you need more info...please read the post above...its also a sticky.
