Re: Was updating to 2.2 worth it?
No problems here. Working great on OMJ's .6 release with the modified kernel for wifi tethering. Just in case, I did do a nand backup of my OMJ 2.1 Rom.
I do like a lot of the enhancements on 2.2.

Re: Was updating to 2.2 worth it?
I honestly dont understand what people do to have so many issues. I have absolutely NO issues with mine. No lag issues, no scrolling issues... no keyboard issues.

same here, no issues what so ever after the official upgrade. Overall operation of the phone is faster, games are smoother, battery life is the same if not better than 2.1.

Re: Was updating to 2.2 worth it?
OK, i thought i just had a bad flash, because i was hating 2.2 ... it did make the system faster but the screen lag/touch was killing me, i thought it was swype at first, so went to stock keyboard, then just gave up and went back to 2.1
I do miss the browser enhancements, but I figure i will give the cooks a couple of more days to bang out a few more stable version... and then go back...

Re: Was updating to 2.2 worth it?
It was totally worth it. I am not having any issues with the phone and as mentioned the battery life is just like before and the phone is much snappier.
Running stock, non-rooted. |
