Can someone tell me what is a kernel? I'm running stock 2.2 rooted and de odexed.....
Edit: oh and wifi tether doesn't work....i downloaded the latest....

Wireless teather pre7 doesn't work for me with prerelease froyo .3. Any suggestions? And I don't want to give up my camera.

pre7 works now on my 2.2 final with the stock kernel
on the .3 leaked i had pre4 and was working just fine

I had the same problem and resolved it by installing Wireless_tether_2_0_5-pre7 without having to change the kernel.
