Calendar Edit Event Deletes The Description

With the Froyo update I no longer can edit an event in calendar without it losing the previous description? Anyone else notice this or do I have a problem with the download?

I believe I am experiencing the same. The description is changed to the location and the previous description is gone.

I am not sure what you mean by that but I assume that everyone is experiencing when you edit an event the description is deleted? I don't know why HTC would do this unless they missed it?

What I meant is that when I went to edit an event, which had a location set in the Where field, the description changed to the location.

I am assuming your event didn't have a location set, so the where field was blank. If I'm correct, the contents of the where field gets copied to the description. So in your case, blank.

Ahhh, got ya. Hopefully they update this. Am I correct that before they froyo update I was able to edit and event without it being deleted or am I losing it?

As an alternative, maybe use the Google calendar mobile site to edit events.

Thanks, that is nice but it sure is ridiculous that HTC did not incorporate this in the agenda/calendar. I can't tell you how many times that I try to edit the description in an event and have to start over now, bad froyo.
