please dont update the phone if you have root, even partial root. just sit and wait until someone makes a root safe OTA rom. then flash that rom onto your phone using rom manager.
easier to do that, then risk losing your root ability forever.

root manger seems so confusing, so many options...
how do i unroot from unrevoked to go back to 1.47.651 so i will be prepared for the froyo release? i think ill stick with stock for the time being. i really wanna see how it performs before i root it again. thanks |

d'l the 1.47 file, plug your phone to your computer, run the file you'll be back at stock and unrooted. |

From what I understand, the unrevoked people are working on a update method for users in your situation. My recommendation would be to wait for them since they know exactly what went into your particular root.
