it does happen to me sometimes that youtube app takes longer to load videos when on 3G but on wifi it works like a charm, havent installed froyo yet so still talkin abt the stock sprint rom. but you might wanna try resetting the device to see if that works.....

Working with 2.2 just fine on my Evo.

Sometimes when I click on a YouTube vid it will stay on the loading screen and just sit there for minutes until I click back... And when I use Dolphin Browser I'll try both HTC FlashPlayer and Youtube and the same thing happens... Occasionally it will work but for the most part it's a huge fail, and I've searched to see if others were having this problem and it seems they are so I don't feel so alone... Anyone have a fix for this or know why it does that..???

Updated to Froyo Official 2.2 and the issue is gone..!!

On Stock 2.2 not rooted and I still have the YouTube problem where it works when it wants too.

Ive got the stock 2.2 and even on the mobile app - I get "sorry video cannot be played". This phone just recently went through a hard reset? Any ideas? fixes?

I just went with a custom ROM instead of dealing with all these headaches and haven't had one issue like this yet...
