flash back to original stock rom?

ok, so last night i tried to do the 2.2 update and i couldnt find the correct file, the file i did find was a non-sense rom labeled as

android version 2.2
baseband version 2.05.00.06.10
kernel version 2.6.29-a2443432 toastcfh@oldschool#7
build number frf50

i just want to flash my phone back to the original rom or the 1.47.651.1 rom...

can ANYONE please help me!! i already lost all my damn contacts because i thought lookout would backup my contacts but it didnt!

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!

As the filename says, completely stock 1.47.

I take it you didn't do a Nandroid backup? It backs up your entire phone incase things like this happen... you can easily revert back to where you were without any bumps in the road like this.

yea...i dont, i thought lookout would do all that since thats what it says in the description, but i guess it didnt :-\, so i will make sure i do that this time around! do i just download nandroid from the app store?

Yeah, Nandroid is just too solid.. no need to have to tinker with other programs. Good luck. Why dont you just flash a rooted stock Froyo?

im still learnin the curve of android, seems to be a bit easier than winmo ever was lol.
