Titanium backup from 2.1 to 2.2?

Is it ok to use Titanium backup to bring apps/settings over from 2.1 to 2.2 if you want to data wipe or will that mess things up? Generally and specifically using Fresh rom?

Edit: Word from the source is dont try this at least not using Fressh! It hasn't been tested and I'm not gonna be the guinea pig lol

I just did it on OMJ's ROM and have no issues...

did you do apps+system settings or just apps?

I think I may give it a try I dont want to reinstall all of those apps manually

Edit: Used it doing APPS ONLY and it worked with (seemingly) No problems.... except handcent seems to have assigned its own ringer, but changed that in settings hopefully it fixed itself if not I will uninstall and reinstall it

i'm interested in this as well....i dont have a prob with redownloading and installing the apps, but i would like to restore the app data after a wipe so i dont have to redo all the settings i have
