Titanium backup from 2.1 to 2.2?

Is it ok to use Titanium backup to bring apps/settings over from 2.1 to 2.2 if you want to data wipe or will that mess things up? Generally and specifically using Fresh rom?

Edit: Word from the source is dont try this at least not using Fressh! It hasn't been tested and I'm not gonna be the guinea pig lol
