Hotmail/Live connecting issues

I have my windows live email account synced to my Gmail so that I could just get all of my mail in there. The only problem is that Gmail takes forever to actually acquire the mail, and in many cases, it doesn't at all. I thought I could just create another account on my Evo so that I could recieve mail from both, but that isn't working for some reason...

Anyone having the same issue, or know of a solution?

I don't even use the app for mail. I just Goto it's respective website (hotmail, Gmail) as if I was on a PC.

Eh, I get a ton of emails throughout the day, and having the notifications and mail app help me deal with them much better...and a whole lot faster. It's one of the things I would rather have in "app" form instead of desktop form when it comes to portable devices.

What do you mean it isn't working?

Have you added your live account? What errors? What happens?

I have gmail, hotmail, and my business pop3 and they all work.

Well, the sync I made to my Gmail account went through successfully, no errors what so ever...it just takes forever at times for emails to come there. For instance, I have about 15 emails right now sitting in my hotmail account that have yet to be imported since 4pm yesterday(its 02:32 am now, central time).

I tried to set up a separate exchange account, one that isn't just linked to Gmail, but it keeps telling me it isn't verified. Im not really sure what to do honestly. When I did this on WM, it just went through like a piece of cake, but it's killin' me now lol

Just goto the mail app on the phone and setup a new account for your hotmail...?

Don't have gmail check it, that makes things wonky..

If u try to set it up as an exchange then that is the reason it isnt working you have to set it up as an other/pop/imap. hope that helps. common issue customers experience.
