Will Froyo kill the Swype beta?

I am using the Swype beta for Android. I wonder if the Froyo update will kill the keyboard? I have the install file. Does anyone know if it will affect it?

My money is it will not work. There may be a Swype for 2.2 somewhere though.

I am running froyo cm6 using swype no problems.

I've had no problems with Swype on CM6 too. Worse comes to worse you may have to reinstall Swype.
