I downloaded Handcent, but still not working. No big deal, but I would like that feature. Maybe I Froyo will fix it.

great! glad you got that working and handcent is an amazing app, super customizable. FYI for anyone else with this problem...open handcent/menu/settings/notification settings/notification setting again/and check sound on call or vibrate on call.

I just flashed to the leaked froyo last night and now i can hear when a text comes in while on the phone. Stock messenging app

I use handcent and may be it's something to do with that, but my sms message notificatiosn only occur after I've hung up from a phone call.

Where is this setting for stock? I have handcent and the notifications stopped working while on the phone. I get no sound but it will vibrate if that's checked. It's pretty annoying. Is there a setting in the stock messaging I'm missing maybe?
