Home Button help

Sorry if posted already. Cannot find answer.

Whenever I'm in application and I press Home button to exit, phone takes me to a screen that asks......

Complete action using

and it gives me the choice between HTC Sense or Launcher.

At the bottom there is a box I can check that lets me choose "Use by default for this action"

The problem is, when I choose HTC sense and the next time I exit from the same application later, I get the same pop up.

Also, when I check the box to use by default, it says "Clear default in Home Settings>Applications> Manage applications

I have followed that path but launch by default only gives me the option to clear defaults.

All I want to do is be able to hit home button and take me back via Sense all the time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: Home Button help

Did you install the updated version of Qik for the EVO? if so you need to uninstall just the update. I had the same problem. I read on there about the fix... Worked just fine now.

Re: Home Button help

Or.. You could just uninstall the other launchers. I've found that if you hold the home button, and get that recently used popup, then it makes it so that the next time you hit home you have to choose.

Re: Home Button help

@ dajeepman - I have installed the Qik update. so I will try uninstalling. Thanks
@ Biofall - I will look into that too.

Or since I'm still not rooted yet, I might just wait for Froyo. Just afraid that Sprint will lock HotSpot and tethering down.

I'm confident that somebody will find a new root soon. But I'm completely new to Android and I don't want to need either of those features and not be able to use them
