So, if this info is posted on the sprint update website, why can't we see it on our devices yet? I'm checking once every few hours or so. Not in a big rush really.

hey you never know .. look at the PS3 4-5+ years still not fully hacked and then the update they blocked from installing other OS;s .. as far as they got with that was read/write and thats it .. im going to wait and see what the developers come up with first.

When you see it popup here... that means it is officially available until then... enjoy the rest of your lives everyone... The update will come and we will all be Froyo'd within 1 or 2 weeks...

totally agreed .. but it will push to the phone as well and if srint/htc are only staggering the push just incase somthing bad happens then it may not be posted on that site.

I wouldn't worry about "if". There will be a root for 2.2, but no matter how quickly the chefs work their magic, it won't be fast enough for those of us chomping on the bit.

I'm an Android dummy, so I won't be upgrading until the folks at Unrevoked have a one-click or two-click solution.
