SMS Problems

hey All. so i've noticed, and sorry if someone already posted about it, but randomly when i open a txt message my evo will open a completely different message. as such i often end up txting the wrong person. Has anyone else noticed this? Someone suggested it was part of a known screen issue. it happens on stock rom and any other rom i have tried..

i have Hardware Version 003 with a Novatel Screen.

Re: SMS Problems

The problem that I am having is when someone texts me, the time is always random that it posts on the text so they are ALL out of order and I have to sort through all the texts for that person that day and find the new one. Getting REALLY REALLY tired of that!!!

I have the same problem but only when switching between texts too fast. It also happens when deleting texts. Slowing down fixes the problem for me. Usually if i send a message in one thread then try to quickly go to another I get the wrong thread. May have something to do with the time it takes to send the message

Same issue with hardware version 1, only on Custom Roms though, When i wasn't rooted on the stock rom I was fine. I'll deal with it for now since I like the custom roms better, although when drunk and don't catch that it opened a different text up...gets you in trouble sometimes haha

Re: SMS Problems

Re-boot or soft reset after deleting text usually takes care of this for me.
