4g stopped working

hi all..I have the white evo with latest radio/wimax update and rooted as well. My 4g had been working fine until today when the phone is stuck at "obtaining ip address from sprint" I rebooted my phone several times, but that did not do anything. Is my phone bricked somehow? what other steps should i do

Are you in Chicago? Mine is no longer connecting as well. I called Sprint & after a series of test they inform me that there are a couple of towers down in my area & the issue should be resolved in the next 24 to 48 hours...

This is what happens when 4G goes down....they are always working on the 4G network to improve it...so from time to time it will go down...use 3G in the mean time.

3G isn't that bad....if 4G isn't working....But it all really depends on how busy your towers (area) is with 3G traffic.

can't get 4g to work still.having issues where I get bars, but no service.any help would be appreciated.
