Few question on Evo 4G or Sprint in general

I have a few issue with the Evo, first whenever i try to send MMS it shows i have 2mb to send but the photo is optimized to like 9kb... how do i make it so it doesnt make the image smaller.

Also i at&t and tmobile has an easy way to send mms to an email address... how does it work on sprint? becuz wen i send a mms to to an email from sprint i have to click a link to see the image.

Please help Thanx

the phone/sprint/ automatically resize the photo. you have to email it.

i use handcent app for my messaging and it sends the picture as a 'slideshow' so you see the image

ok, explain when it says that? i open up my gmail, i start a new msg(menu>compose), i press attach (menu>attach), it asks me what to open (gallery, astro file manager) i picked gallery and select a photo. it attched the photo and sent the email.

maybe you need to install astro file manager app? i dunno.

You're sending 2Mb files each time, you're going to run into a lot of issues with Sprint eventually capping your usage. One suggestion, zip up the file (if that reduces size at all, don't think it will), post it to a site like flicker where anyone can see/download the images and you won't have to send such large files, send pictures as attachments to emails. Again, pretty large files 2Mb is not massively large, but it's big enough on a slower connection.
