Rom is one of the most stable i've used. I advise for heavy data users TRY THIS ROM! BAKED SNACK BETA 9.7 the only issue i have is sometimes when i hit thr home button it askes if i wanna launce sense or home

Been running this ROM since beta 6 and now on 9.7. It has great power management. Add in Juice Defender and I have a battery that will probably last 18-20 hours with moderate to heavy use.

I'm on Beta 9.6... Do you know if there is an easy way to update the rom like there is with Damage Control?

PhyscoAssassinx I'm also using 9.7 was wondering which kernel you're using. I like netarchy-toastmod but I'm not getting quite that good battery life. Are you using setCPU? If so what are your settings.

I dont think the roms do nearly as much as you guys think for battery life. I have used OMJ with excelent life and am currently on Damage control. I always get a full days use with heavy to moderat tinkering. The main thing is to have the basic sync and power settings set to how you need them and not to have everything working even if you dont use them. The other week I forgot to charge my phone overnight I got two days out of it. The first day I used it lightly and the second day I was using it moderat. So I wasnt using it heavy but still 2 days, it didnt die on me to late that night when I was already in bed pushing it to die by blaring pandora and texting friends.

I sync gmail every 5 minutes, my weather updates every three hours and my PSN widget updates every hour. I am thinking of change the weather to every 2 hours or 1 and also I was thinking about changing the PSN widget and the weather to 1 hour at the exact same time so that when the phone wakes up it will wake up once to update both of those and not twice. Anytime I download something and add it to the phone I always check it out in running services to see what its doing. Then I will restart the phone waite 2 minutes then check running services to see if it started with the phone or not. You dont want to much running at once. Some developers dont have battery life in mind. For instance my Pure grid callander widget runs automaticly from start up and I have no clue why, if I stop it, it has no ill effects. My PSN widget is very awesome it only comes on in running services when it is update. Thats how a lot of things should work developers. If its not running and its not on it should be showing up in running services. Titanium back up was showing up in running services because I had it schedualed to do a back up once a week. I removed the schedual and just started backing it up manualy whenever I deemed it necessary so now it doesnt show up. Mort player was a cool Music app but it always started on start up and I would have to stop it. Then if I opened it and then closed it it would show up in running services. Basicly some apps dont close them selves even when not in use. Be cautious and keep and eye on things and your battery will last plenty.

great notes Physco...for us Noobs (I do have full root 1 & 2 plus the whitslack update)..I have only flashed roms from PPCGeeks and those have been great so far for me..I am running OMJ 1.7 ver 2 ( just followed the instructions on which rom to flash if you have done whitslack deal)..I am a super heavy user, 150-250 emails a day and many hours on the phone..Any advice on which to flash if we give Baked Snack a go? I see lots on this kernal or that kernal and I am not versed at all on that stuff??? I do like the Stock style custom Roms..is this somewhat stock too? thanks again

i regularly get 30+ hours using stock rom w/ unrevoked & setCPU. does this rom use any downclocking?
