Sense v. Non sense

It was a reflection of flashing numerous roms; 6.0, 6.1, 6.5, 6.5.1, titanium, standard, professional, sense, maxsense, sense 2.5 etc.....

It wasnt only gimped hardware, it was the software though my Tmo Dash has a special place in my heart. If only that had EVO specs...
My only real annoyance is the lack of a point to have all this storage on your card. In wm6, I always accessed my card as i saved to it often and opened from it. Now I never really use it unless im trying to restore apks that i saved on it.

In the end, i see it like this: WM phones hacked is how the roms should have came initially. There is nothing too wrong with android out of the box, hacked roms are even better.

With windows 6.1 downloading things wasnt as popular as downloading is on android. Most of us used cab files to customise our phones and most of us had some no how. Even still I can recall several post by people saying oh man this and that dont work and why not. And sometimes these problems came from people installing things on there SD card that shouldnt be installed on the SD card but instead should be installed in the main memory. Anyway not everything can be installed on the SD card somethings have to be installed on the main memory. I see lots of problem posts coming in the futur once 2.2 is actually released lol. Features are great and nowing how to use them is important unfortunantly commen sense and reading directions is for "da stupid" now days lol. Anyway bring on froyo and lets get this party started.

He said he thinks there is going to be problems when froyo comes out and people start moving stuff to the SD card.

In response to an earlier sense-related post.. If you search on the market, there are several apps that will sync your contacts and pictures from facebook. For contacts, socialite beta should work, and there is a good one for pics and it has "pics" in the name but I can't remember it. But the fact that sense gives you these two features is just about all it does past it's Graphical application.

syncmypics is probably what you're thinking of.

So how is everyone running the phone w/o sense to see if they like it better. Im running damage control, so it's fairly simple for me just to ban sense.

They are probably running some froyo ROM..

There are many apps that give your phone the Sense appearance, but I for one, need the Sense Mail app in order to be compliant with Email at work. The Android Mail app doesn't do the Exchange Security, and unless I am missing something, neither does the Froyo Mail App. So I have to have Sense's mail app, which I would think would run with or without sense but haven't tried. But it integrates the security to make it compliant.

To not use the Sense UI, run any launcher from the market. Launcher Pro and ADW are the most popular. You will still have all the sense applications, like messaging, browser, friendstream (you can run this through the app drawer), but you won't be able to add any of the sense widgets to your homescreen, such as friendstream, bookmarks widget, calendar widget (you can find similar apps on the market for some things).
