Question Please Help With YouMail and BlueTooth

So I downloaded YouMail the other day as I really wanted to use a custom MP3 file as my voicemail greeting and trying to record it over speakers was just not cutting it.

However, since then, when I go to: Setting>About Phone>Battery - it indicates the Bluetooth is constantly running, despite it showing it to be off under every other setting. And I think it somehow is running, because my battery has been draining insanely fast every since installing this app.

I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this (as search did not yield too much) or an applicable fix.

Thanks.

Re: Please Help With YouMail and BlueTooth

I dunno' I did a search and found:

You cross-posted here and on XDA-Developers.
There seems to be a review of this application that states it's actually crippled by design:

Re: Please Help With YouMail and BlueTooth

Is YouMail really free for Sprint users? Or does Sprint still charges $0.20 per call forwarded?

I read that used to charge but I don't know if they still chage them.

Anybody with Sprint using YouMail that can confirm this

Thanks a lot

Call forwarding and Sprint

Sprint DOES NOT charge for the call forwarding.. It has been a non-charging feature for some time.

I have used Google Voice, and now, Ribbit, that basically does the same thing, forwarding all your calls to them when you don't answer, for at least 6 months or more.

No charges on my bills. Google Voice and Ribbit, both have the Voice Mail to Text and Email feature, but, I am reading that this Youmail maybe be better and an Android app at that.

I will give it a try.

You will love youmail..All my friends that I have turned on to it do..What I really like doing is making a custom voice greet for telemarkers etc that basically says the line has been disconnected and it sounds exactly like the real thing and then it ditches their call..haha i love it!!

You can upload your own greets via .mp3 and use those and make custom ones for every contact you have..They even have an option on the web page to sync your contacts with facebook now. I havent used that personally because I dont like to sync anything facebook to my phone.

Re: Please Help With YouMail and BlueTooth

Ok, I have YouMail up and running on my phone.

Now I'm going to wait to see what my friends are going to say about my greeting message.

Thanks everybody
