Rooted EVO WiFI Tether Help

I've got a rooted EVO with Super User permissions and whenever i try to use the WiFi tether app no device can locate the broadcast of my hot spot. Has anyone come across this before?

I have not had the issue at all, mine works great. Have you tried seeing if there is a newer version in the Market?

If you downloaded wireless tether for root from the market and you open the ap and click to start tethering your device should find it no problem. Make sure your wifi is enabled of course, but my laptop found it without me even looking for it.

Yeah, never had the problem of seeing SSID. Did take me a minute to enable my laptop for tether use though.
