http://ip208-100-42-21.static.xda-de...d.php?t=715678 i believe there is a way to go to pre-ota status, then do the newer OTA. i think you would have to use the 1.47 stock file. run the exe on your computer w/ evo plugged in to go back to stock. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=121961 hopefully someone can chime in w/ more help on this issue and using the stock RUU, since i have not used it at all. Re: Unable to start Wi-Fi
Yes, I did the first OTA, not knowing at the time that phones were being bricked. My phone didn't brick, but now it appears that the Wi-Fi may have been affected.
EDIT: After reading the post on XDA, do I need to get my phone returned? |

Re: Unable to start Wi-Fi
Agreed, although I've been trying to ride out the stock ROM for everything that it's worth until I've had enough or begin to have problems with it! Would like a ROM that has cameras working (and all of the others items.. Wi-Fi, Tethering, etc... - just not sure which one to use)

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=715915 doing those things, you end up w/ a stock rom, fully rooted, and 1.47 ota installed with everything working. then just need to install the free wifi tethering app, or titanium backup to remove apps (sprint nfl/nascar, etc) |
