evo linksys router repeater

Does anyone know of a way i can tether my evo into my linksys router so the signal strength of the evo's wifi can be amplified by the router? It would be like using the router as a repeater.

Re: evo linksys router repeater

You could tether your evo to the pc then use ICS out to your router....

Re: evo linksys router repeater

What Model Linksys?

I used DD-WRT (http://www.dd-wrt.com/site/index) to turn a spare router into a Bridge/Repeater. That way I didn't have to buy a Xbox Network adapter. Saved myself a ton of $$ that way

Basically, it is doubling up on Internet Connection Sharing. (ICS). You use ICS from your phone to the PC when you tether. Then, connect your PC to the WAN spot on a router and then your router shares to whatever else you want to connect.
