No service after root

Hey guys, i rooted my phone, and now i get no service at all. I can get service on verizon when i put it on roaming only. Any ideas and help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Need more informaton about how you're rooted before anyone can offer any advice. What instructions did you follow, did you do everything in said instructions? Have you verified you haven't missed a step somewhere? Did you go back and try to root again?

I used the guide in the sticky. I have another evo and i rooted that with the same instructions and that one works fine. I have tried a couple of times but still doesnt work.

I'm probably the least knowledgeable of anyone here, but the same thing happened to me after I rooted, and I just went in and updated the pri in the settings menu. Got my service back, and yes I'm still rooted. Can't say if that would work for you though. I don't want to tell anyone anything to mess their phone up, but that's what worked for me.

Try updating both your profile and your PRL:

Settings > System Updates > Update Profile
Settings > System Updates > PRL

sorry guys, im out of town for the weekend but i will try sunday and let you know. is there a manual way to update pri? i already have a prl file that i will update manually. Im asking because i had to activate old phone because this wouldnt work. I already tried to update profile and prl automatically but didnt work because im getting no service. Thanks for the help guys.

didnt work guys, updated radio, wimax but not sure how to do pri. Another thing that is funny, is that i tried updating my prl manually, and it said committ successful but then after the phone restarted i checked and it said 000000
