So.. just doesnt look like its gonna be possible to use auto sync...

I usually always kept it off but decided to forward all of my email to my gmail rather than using the htc mail. Plus, push email. Minus, battery dropped down to 50% in about 5 hours. And with the auto sync off its kinda purposeless for me to use the gmail because it doesnt refresh unless you open the app. Hmm.. I'm trying to see if there is a medium here but it doesnt seem possible. Anyone that actually keeps auto sync on that doesnt take a major battery hit?

With it off i'm able to get 16-18 hours easily before I need a charge. With it on it looks like my phone will be dead by the time I get off of work.

SMH... look at the battery discharge this is crazy.

I use Exchange for my Gmail with push on. My battery typically lasts 24+ hours with mild to moderate usage. I turned off Gmail push since I want all my mail in one inbox and stored locally.
