I agree on the quality being sub par. It also sucks that you can't really use Rockplayer to watch avi movies on your tv. That's what I was really looking forward to. But yea..really no point to the HDMI out. I wonder if video out will work using the micro usb port. I assume it will work similar to the Epic video out and would display whatever is on your phone?
