I can understand that. In that respect though, you entertains that by cyan releasing this when he did, it will allow for a speedier RC release and official release right? If so, just maybe take care and think about how your post may be taken as hostile towards someones decision to release their hard work. You know how us geeks are

That being said, even though these nightlies are fantastic, I can't wait for an official either.

Hope I don't sound stupid, but I am new to Android (and Evo), any good instructions anywhere on how to apply this rom? I have done custom roms on my TP2 but don't know how Android does it.

Also, does it mean I will lose all my data or its an update of the current system?

Another also, does marketplace work on this rom?

Despite the 4G not working, I decided to flash this (I rarely use 4G, as it isn't reliable where I live/work). It's extremely fast, stable, and just works! I haven't tested the wi-fi, as I have rarely ever used it on any smartphone I've had in the past, so I can't comment on that. But the hotspot app works just great! Browser is fast, and the phone just feels more responsive overall. I don't use bluetooth, so I can't comment on that. But, for what I use the phone for, I could easily use this rom every day, and will continue to do so.

So to beat this horse, the nightly builds are great for everyday except for 4g, mms, and WiFi tendering? If that's the case, then count me in!

The wifi hot spot app works just great for me. At least my work computer is able to see the wifi network created by the hot spot app. I haven't tried connecting, and making web requests yet.

missing too many apps.......no 4g, navigation, etc.........list go on and on..
