Cyanogen Roms = Froyo -Mostly Everything Working!!!

It works ok but there are many bugs.yes it is only a nightly but some people are making it out like all is ok.

Bluetooth does not work for audio only phone.

and many more issues as well.All you need to do is read the real thread about this stuff on XDA as this only gets a few bits from it.

OK stupid questions, get ready to flame. I heard Cyanogen isn't installing HTC Sense so:

I am really used to 7 home screens. Yes, I am the one weirdo who uses them ALL. Is there a way I can get SenseUI installed ontop of the Cyanogen ROM (once the actual relases is out)?

Cyanogen rom has 5 screens which is plenty imo.Their will be froyo roms with sense, if you absolutely prefer 7.check upgrades forum they got few test versions out.

Please try to refrain from misleading people. The namesake of this phone : Evo 4G. No working 4G. It isn't even a ROM, it is a nightly build, which is re-compiled every night. It's not even an alpha. Go check out the xda thread where it is 190 pages of problems. Not slamming it, just saying this isn't a ROM most people could use as it's not functional for everyday use.

That has nothing to do with the ROM. That is an error with your gmail syncing, most likely caused by titanium backup. I had a helluva time getting rid of this error.

What else is SenseUI? Is it mostly widgets? Like clocks, weather, etc.?

Thanx for the good lookin bio, i stepped away from that rom so ill just wait for the real 2.2 froyo to come out and well go from their.. Its a good rom dont get me wrong just aint working out to well on my side...

Yea mostly, htc music, htc photo album, widgets, clocks.You can do without I'm sure.

Actually you can choose to have anywhere from 1-7 home screens in the ADW Launcher settings in Cyanogens ROM. It's not limited to just 5.
