Thankfully I can be patient. I'm just so freakin' pumped for this release. Cyanogen is like the Peyton Manning of ROM builders, so you know that he's not going to cut any corners, and your going to get a superb product.

Thats all I keep hearing about his ROMs, the Evo is my first Android device and im so pumped for this release. A quality 2.2 ROM is exactly what I have been wanting.
Reminds me of flashing MightyROM onto my Diamond months before Windows Mobile 6.5 was released.

I personally think that we have the all star team of developers already. It's just now we have Lebron (yeah I went there!)

These Android roms are much more polished. Not blaming the developers at all, they had to make the taj Mahal out of playdough. Now, there is a quality kit for them to play with. We got juggs and jd!

Yeah thats pretty much what I have gathered. It really says something when I no longer have to flash a new ROM weekly just the lag down. Refreshing to have something that just works without a lot of work.

I give you props on your thread of ROM collection...very helpful...

but this Lebron comment...come on dude!!! Not only did he turn his back on his home town team...he did it on national TV!!!

anyway...I'm psyched about CM6 for my EVO as well. This is the first ROM I thought about when I was rooting the phone that first night!!!

having ran a Froyo ROM for a bit...I cannot bring myself to go back to a 2.1 ROM for every day use. 100% functionality will be fantastic!!!

I agree that Lebron made the announcement in a very narcissistic way, but turned his back on his home town? Give me a break. For one thing, Lebron is from Akron, not Cleveland. At any rate, Lebron doesn't owe Cleveland anything at all. Nada. Zilch. If anything, it's the organization's fault for not building a strong enough team around him. You can't really blame a Lebron for the Cavs not winning an NBA title, when he's the 2-time defending league MVP.

Any level headed person knows that professional sports is a business. And if the employee thinks that he has an opportunity to be more successful at another business, then who has the right to criticize that?

Moreover, who in their right mind would wanna play for a douche like Dan Gilbert. The man has the maturity of a 5 year old. Not the kinda guy that I'd want for a boss.
