I agree that Lebron made the announcement in a very narcissistic way, but turned his back on his home town? Give me a break. For one thing, Lebron is from Akron, not Cleveland. At any rate, Lebron doesn't owe Cleveland anything at all. Nada. Zilch. If anything, it's the organization's fault for not building a strong enough team around him. You can't really blame a Lebron for the Cavs not winning an NBA title, when he's the 2-time defending league MVP.
Any level headed person knows that professional sports is a business. And if the employee thinks that he has an opportunity to be more successful at another business, then who has the right to criticize that?
Moreover, who in their right mind would wanna play for a douche like Dan Gilbert. The man has the maturity of a 5 year old. Not the kinda guy that I'd want for a boss.
