Any idea when Sprint will have EVO's in stock?
 

Has anyone got a reliable update of when Sprint will start stocking the EVO again. They keep advertising it on TV but if you go to their web page you can't order it. Many retail stores have been getting them in periodically so you just have to call around and get lucky. But you can't expect them to pull the commercials just because they are out of stock. Advertising does not work like that.

It's very very random... I jumped on Sprint's site at 2am July 1st... It said it was available, I did my upgrade (That I'd been waiting for) and got it ordered. It was there the very next afternoon (July 2nd). But I haven't seen it available since - I check just for fun now.

I just called and ordered a second one through EVP last week and it was delivered this past Thursday. EVP stated they had plenty of them.

I called *2 a couple hours ago and she said they had them back in stock. I'm trying to find one at BB so I don't have to wait for the rebate though.

I just got my EVO from Bestbuy on friday. the retail stores have them, and if you call them (assuming that they have it in stock), they will hold it for you.

the good thing about bestbuy that i can confirm was that I got my evo 199.99 + tax, NO ACTIVATION FEE (SOME STORES CHARGE THIS BEWARE $18-36), and the lady hooked it up with 20% off accessories.

Just call some local bestbuys, radioshacks, and maybe the sprint stores too. Someone is bound to have it!

As others have said, they are trickling in slowly. I tried to get one Saturday, and my local Sprint store had 1, but it was gone when I got there. The Sprint store did not have a waiting list, and neither did my local BB. Luckily The Shack had a wait list, so I jumped on that, but there are 5 people ahead of me. I also talked to *2 and they said the stores are getting them before they come to the warehouse (where telesales ships them from), so she recommended I try B&M, which I did. From what BB and The Shack would tell me, they get a few in every several days. Yeah, just a few, like 2 or 3. Might be a long wait...
