Just keep checking in the store. I am on a wait list of 80 people. I went in two days ago and found out that Sprint releases them in small blocks. I left my name with one of the reps I have dealt with before and 15 minutes later I had an EVO!!!!!

My problem is we are a govt agency and deal with our local store which is a preferred retailer not a sprint corporate store. According to them they can't even order them yet. I want to port over one of our lines from Verizon so I guess I just wait. It just aggravates me that they advertise them but it is so difficult to get one. I understand that they aren't going to stop advertising them but you would think they would have better planned for something that they advertised so much prior to release.

Damn, my store got 28 in yesterday and I was off!

I can update this thread if my store gets a fairly large shipment in again.

Just make regular calls to Sprint and BB. I picked one up on Friday 7/9 at my local BB. Sprint store had some the day before but by the time I got off work, they were out. BB has plenty of white ones but the black ones are hard to come by. I picked up a black one.

i checked all around, no one has then in san fernando valley ca, BUT!
rado shack called me n i got my phone yersterday afternoon:) sold my touchpro with the promise it would be in the store monday, in reality, it didnt arrive till thur

Just wanna let ya all know that this guy is a great person to deal with. Called him 2 days ago to get my EVO it it arrived here today in great shape... let's hope it stays that way :mrgreen:

Is the Evo still unavailable?
 

As the title says, is the Evo still hard to find in Sprint or BB stores? I just looked online and saw they were all sold out.

I have been following iphone news closely, as I was debating between staying with Sprint and getting the Evo or jumping ship to At&t and getting the iphone. After realizing the data cap on At&t will greatly hinder my iheartradio and pandora streaming.. I have finally decided to get the evo and stay on sprint.

But... are my chances slim of walking to a sprint store tomorrow and purchasing one?

What have recent buyers experience's been?
