ubuntu (lucid lynx) + wine + htc sync

Anyone been ablw to get the HTC sync software to run on ubuntu via wine? I just installed but the app won't launch. From what I can see i'm missing a bunch of dll's - at least thats what I can gather from the terminal output from the install.
