Qck ? Basics of Flashing Newest Stock Rom & Radio while keeping Root

Thanks to thacounty and KarIE for the responses. below is what I believe to be a quick guide that talks about some of the loose ends after you get done with Simpleroot. The original question is below the answers.

"Thanks a ton KarIE & thacounty,

For the other Newbies here and as a quick reference:

1) Once one does the Simple root, you will have a very limited rooted Rom on your unlocked phone.

2) Then you need to reflash another more complete rom to your liking. SimpleSprint or another.

3) Im still unsure what radio this leaves you with, but my thinking is you still need to then reflash the latest radios (CDMA & Wimax).

4) Now you have a completely rooted phone with a usable rom.

The other guides are GREAT, I think this just fills in a few loose ends for Newbies that aren't concisely covered.

Hey All Quick question. Ive been rooting for WM for ever, I have a few questions as android is a little different.

1)I use the simple root method, what rom does that leave me with? Newest Stock? Older Stock?

2)Does this change the radios? Newest CDMA? Newest Wimax?

Basically I want to root and have a bone stock rom that can use tether and uninstall factory apps WHILE having the newest rom and radio.

Will using simple unlock by itself do this.

Thx All,
Force
