Preferred Roaming List, basically updates which towers are available for use if the domestic service (Sprint) signal is very low so it can jump to other towers like Verizon towers if they are nearby and get a better signal.

It may be my imagination. But with these biweekly PRL dates we've gotten the last 5 weeks , my service is gettin worse and worse. I can be in areas with known great roaming coverage and my EVO will sit there with no signal at all for 15 minutes then finally start switching
